Jane was a lifelong Marcellian, graduating from Marcellus High School and Syracuse University. As an active member of Marcellus First Presbyterian Church, she served the church in many ways, including floral arranger for more than 30 years, Sunday school teacher, and a deacon. She was an avid lover of nature and was a member of the Marcellus Garden Club, served on the Marcellus Environmental Commission, and most recently volunteered at Baltimore Woods Nature Center.
