She was an avid lover of nature and was a member of the Marcellus Garden Club, served on the Marcellus Environmental Commission, and most recently volunteered at Baltimore Woods Nature Center.

Both she and Bob had a longtime interest in literature and were members of the Friends of the Library and served on the Marcellus Library Board.
A celebration of her life will be held at the Marcellus First Presbyterian Church on Wednesday, February 27 from 5-8 pm. Funeral services will be held at the same location on Thursday, February 28 at 1pm.
