Obituary of Everett A. "Bud" Teague

Bud Teague, 95, of Marietta, passed away July 17th at the VA Medical Center. He was born in 1921 in Collinsville, Alabama. Bud played football at the University of Alabama prior to entering military service in 1942. He was a US Army Air Force Veteran of WWII. As a bombardier on a B-24 he flew 23 missions over Europe. Bud was an avid hunter, fisherman and Alabama football fan. In his retirement, he was an active volunteer at the Carpenter's Brook Fish Hatchery and served as a board member for the Friends of Carpenter's Brook non- profit group. Bud is predeceased by his daughter Joyce Wheeler. Surviving are his wife Gloria; daughters Janet (Art) Files and Anne Brostek; son James (Denice); 8 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Calling hours will be 4 to 7pm Thursday, July 20, 2017, at the Ryan Funeral Home, 44 E. Main Street, Marcellus. A service will be held 9am Friday in the Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery Chapel. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Friends of Carpenter's Brook Fish Hatchery, PO Box 269, Route 321 Elbridge, NY 13060.
