Obituary of Robert E. Moosbrugger
Robert E. Moosbrugger, 92, of North Syracuse died peacefully July 6, 2016 at St. Camillus. He was a graduate of Vocational High School and U.S. Army veteran of World War II. Robert’s long work history included The Syracuse Newspapers, Byrne Dairy, Syracuse Developmental Center and Saves Auto Body Supply, completely retiring in 2007. Robert was a man who did ordinary things extraordinary well. He was a communicant of St. Rose of Lima Church for over 65 years. Robert was predeceased by his wife of 56 years, Mary (Swanberry) and son, Robert J. of Cape Canaveral, FL.
Robert is survived by his children Ted (Maureen) of Marcellus, Mark of Banning, CA, Marianne (Mark Cywilko) of Jamesville, Alfred (Maureen) of Hilton Head, SC, Dieanna (John) Mercurio of Baldwinsville, daughter-in-law, Bonnie of Cape Canaveral FL, sister, Mary Louise Reynolds of Westvale, 13 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, sister-in-laws Anne Moosbrugger, Rose Moosbrugger and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Wednesday, July 13 at St. Rose of Lima Church, 409 S. Main St., North Syracuse from 10:30 to 11:45 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at noon in the church, with burial at North Syracuse Cemetery.
