Obituary of Elsie D. Harrison
Elsie D. Harrison passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, November 21. She was born in Fabius, NY and was the only child of Harry and Rena Denison. Elsie graduated valedictorian of her class from Fabius High School and worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse at Syracuse Memorial Hospital. Following her wedding to Bob Harrison, she moved to the family's farm in Marcellus. She was a lifelong member of Marcellus Grange #464. Elsie enjoyed the camaraderie of the Thursday afternoon quilt group and her friends and neighbors at Upper Crown Mill. She was predeceased by her husband of 39 years, Robert G. Harrison.
Elsie is survived by her 4 children: Bobbie (Keith) Severson of Marcellus, Sandy (Bill) Masters of Marcellus, Scott (Nancy) Harrison of Camillus and Doug (Kim) Harrison of Skaneateles, 9 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Calling hours will be Tuesday, November 24 from 1 to 3 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at Ryan Funeral Home, 44 E. Main St., Marcellus. The funeral service will be at Ryan Funeral Home, Wednesday, November 25, at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Marcellus.
