Obituary of Carol A. Searle

Carol A. Searle, 67, of Navarino passed away Saturday, November 14, 2015 at Crouse Hospital. Carol was a 1966 graduate of Corcoran High School. She loved her job, working with children for over 40 years at Onondaga Central School as a school bus driver and more recently as building secretary at Wheeler. Carol was a member for 26 years of the South Onondaga Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. She was predeceased by her husband George F. Searle in 1991. Carol is survived by her companion Glenn; her step-families; nieces, nephews and cousins; and her dear friend Cindy. Calling hours will be 4 to 7pm Wednesday, November 18 at Ryan Funeral Home, 44 E. Main Street, Marcellus. The funeral service will be 9am Thursday, at the funeral home, followed by the burial in Pine Ridge Cemetery, Navarino. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the South Onondaga Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, 3130 Cedarvale Road, Nedrow, NY 13120.
