Obituary of Arlene C. Milne

Arlene C. Milne, 88, of Liverpool and formerly of Jamesville and Marcellus, NY passed away January 1, 2025. Born and raised in Buffalo, NY she was the daughter of Gerhard and Monica Fassl. Arlene graduated from Bishop McMahon High School and was a secretary at Trico Corporation for a couple of years. Later, after her family transferred to the Central NY area, Arlene attended Maria Regina College and served as a teachers-aide in the Jamesville-Dewitt School District and still later was the Administrative Assistant to the Regional Manager of Folgers Coffee Division of Procter & Gamble. She was a communicant of St. Francis Xavier Church, Marcellus. Arlene enjoyed reading, attending musical performances and taking vacation trips. She always kept a beautiful home and welcomed everyone with a home cooked meal, including dessert. Arlene was predeceased by her loving husband of 68 years, Jim, in 2022.

Arlene is survived by two sons Bruce (Diane) and Robert (Annie) Milne; daughter Lori (Paul) Bertalan; grandchildren Clara Milne; Andrew, Shelby and Mathew Milne; Stephanie and Brendon Cambra; and great-granddaughters Julia and Alexandra. Also surviving Arlene are her two sisters-in-law Janice Carpenter and Molly Wagner; many nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11am Saturday, January 25th in St. Francis Xavier Church, One West Main Street, Marcellus. Burial will be private. There will be no calling hours.
