Obituary of Jeannette E. Haney

Jeannette E. Haney, 84, of Marcellus died at home unexpectedly Sunday, September 6, 2015. Jeanette grew up in Navarino and lived most of her life in Marcellus. She was a homemaker. Jeanette was a member of the Marcellus Women's Bowling League for many years and enjoyed playing Bridge. She was predeceased by her husband Owen in 1991, two brothers Carl and Paul, and recently her daughter-in-law Mary Lou Corbett Haney died August 26, 2015. Surviving are three sons Dennis, Brian (Deb) and Christopher all of Marcellus; ten grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and her brother Jack (Lyn) Rice of Marcellus. Calling hours will be 4 to 7pm Thursday, September 10th at Ryan Funeral Home, 44 E. Main Street, Marcellus. A memorial funeral service will be held 10am Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Marcellus. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Marcellus Fire Department, P.O. Box 186, Marcellus, NY 13108.
