Richard Tuttle, 85, of Marcellus, NY passed away on Monday, November 25th. He will be missed everyday by his daughters Amanda Sexton and Elizabeth King, and their spouses. He leaves behind many other loving family members and friends.

Richard was born and raised in Victor, NY, graduated from Hobart College, and worked as a teacher at the former Willard Psychiatric Center where he met his wife, Norma, an occupational therapist. They married six months later and raised their family on beautiful Cayuga Lake. Richard was a wonderful father and friend- kind, patient, and supportive. A lifelong learner, in his retirement Richard took many classes through Upstate Oasis and enjoyed attending summer lectures and events at the Chautauqua Institute with his daughter Amanda. He loved hiking with his grand dogs, gardening, church suppers, and his cat Mitzy. A gathering in Richard's honor will be held in the spring.
