Obituary of Lynn McGraw Davis

Lynn McGraw Davis, age 75, of Skaneateles, passed away unexpectedly at home on June 7, 2024. She was predeceased by her parents Larry and Jo McGraw, brother Mark McGraw and former husband Al Davis.

Growing up, Lynn was an accomplished equestrian and member of the Limestone Creek Hunt Club. She was a graduate of Solvay High School and Parson's College in Iowa, where she was President of Delta Zeta Sorority. Lynn was a school teacher at East Hill Elementary in the West Genesee School District for over thirty years. After which she worked in retail, and cared for her grandchildren. In her most recent years, Lynn embraced happiness and gratitude each day, as she loved her dog Garth, her home in the countryside and spending time with family. Lynn was a free spirit, who exuded fun and kindness to all.

Lynn is survived by her daughter Nicole (Dan) Olenych of Skaneateles; grandsons Oliver, Lucas and Miles Olenych; her sister Terry (Paul) DiLauro of Liverpool; nieces Jenna DiLauro and Brittany (Richard) Miller of Henderson, NV.

A calling hour will be held Thursday, June 20th from 9:45 to 10:45am in St. Francis Xavier Church, One West Main Street, Marcellus, NY and a Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11am. The burial will be private at a later date. Contributions can be made in Lynn's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
