Tyrone J. King, of Marcellus, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on August 18, 2023, his 81st birthday. Ty leaves behind his wife of 61 years, Sylvia (Morford); a legacy of six children Matthew, Bruce, Jason, Melanie, Christian and Amber; six grandchildren Sarah, Laura, Arwen, Harper, Ryan and Weston; his great-grandson Anthony; brother William and sister Roxanne.

Ty was a pillar of the community; managing the Marcellus KeyBank for many years, serving with the Marcellus Rotary Club, with the Marcellus School Alumni Association, and as an Elder and Deacon with the Marcellus First Presbyterian Church. Tyrone spent his life loving his family with his whole self, being a dependable constant for all who needed him, and creating memories that they will treasure for the rest of their lives.
