Obituary of Marion Noble Howard
Marion Noble Howard, 96, of Marcellus, passed away the evening of June 21, 2023 at the home of her son, with family by her side.
Marion lived many years in Syracuse and Anchorage, Alaska before moving to Marcellus in 1967. She worked many years as a secretary for the Marcellus Central Schools. Marion was a past secretary of St. John's Episcopal Church, Marcellus and was on many committees in the Episcopal Church at large, including years of involvement in Cursillo. She enjoyed the Yankees, reading and crafting. Marion was predeceased by her husband of 16 years, Walter L. Howard in 1972 and her daughter Melissa Benoy in 2021.
Surviving Marion are her son William (Karen) Howard; grandchildren Kayla (Greg) Christian, John (Caroline) and Jason (Christine); three great-grandchildren; son-in-law Richard Benoy; sister-in-law Marion Shane; several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be 11:30am Thursday, June 29th at Onondaga Valley Cemetery, 2500 Valley Drive, Syracuse.
