Marian L. Settineri, 82, of Amber, NY, died peacefully on June 11, 2023, surrounded by family at Upstate Medical Center.

Marian was born and raised in Syracuse, NY, where she graduated from Onondaga Valley Academy in 1958. She attended the University of Louisville on a full ride scholastic art scholarship and graduated in 1962. She earned a Master of Fine Arts from Syracuse University in 1966.

She and her husband, William J., moved to Midland, Michigan where they lived for 34 years until returning to their beloved Otisco Lake in 2000. While in Michigan, she worked from home as a freelance artist and graphic designer while raising her four boys. Marian's artwork received recognition and awards throughout the country and her series of 22 drawings entitled "The Unravelling Process" was published in 1998.
