Frances M. Carr "Buzzard", 94, of Marcellus passed away at home surrounded by loved ones. Raised in Cicero, Fran lived most of her life in Marcellus. She was a homemaker and a member of Rose Hill Baptist Church. Fran loved her music, playing her accordion and harmonica, along with her daily chocolate ice cream. She was predeceased by her husband of 73 years James G. Carr Sr., daughter Janet Harriman and son-in-law Stephen Ayotte.
Surviving are her children James Jr. (Kathy), Cynthia Ayotte, Steven (Polly) and Alan (Diane); son-in-law Joel Harriman; 11 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandson; several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Monday, October 24th, from 4 to 6pm at Ryan Funeral Home, 44 E. Main Street, Marcellus. A Funeral Service will be held Tuesday the next morning at 10am in Rose Hill Baptist Church, followed by the burial at Thorn Hill Cemetery, Rose Hill.
