Obituary of Beatrice Mosher Kuehnling
Beatrice Mosher Kuehnling Dec. 27, 1924 - July 20, 2022, died surrounded by family and showered with love. A true gem of CNY. Born in Geneva NY. Bea attended a one room school house in Prospect. She loved spending summers of her youth in the Adirondacks. Bea grew up in Utica where her family owned Mosher's Market on Bleeker St. She was a graduate of Roosevelt High School.
Bea moved to Clinton, NY in 1968 where she raised her children and grandchildren. She resided at 48 Meadow St. for many wonderful years with her son Bob. Her favorite job was working for Dey Chevrolet, where she was the smiling face at the service window and was employed until 85 years young. Bea was predeceased by her parents, siblings, and daughter Janet Kittleman.
She leaves her children and families: Nancy and Richard Thurston, Vernon NY; Dr. William and Susan Kuehnling: Jamie, Alyssa and Billy, Buffalo NY; Robert C. Kuehnling, Clinton NY; Ellen and Ed Powers: Eddie and Ben Marcellus NY. Grandsons Justin Kittleman; Robert and Laurie Kittleman: Hailey, Taylor, Kera, Clinton NY and great great granddaughter Magnolia. Cherished nieces and nephews.
The world was a kinder place because Bea was in it. She stood for human dignity. Bea taught us to "do unto others"' and "walk a mile in another's shoes". Any person in need or stray animal was welcome in her home and at her table.
