Doris Jean Brenchley J. Fisher Obituary

Doris Jean Brenchley Fisher, 96, of Otisco, passed away peacefully at home on July 27, 2022.

Born January 2, 1926 in Forksville,PA, the eldest of six children to Earle and Mary Hatch Brenchley, Doris lived most of her life in the Tully Valley. She married Irving Fisher on February 17, 1946. She held a variety of jobs in her lifetime, but was best known as the cafeteria manager at Tully School District for many years. After her husband's death in 2014, Doris lived with her daughter and son in law, where "GG" spent many happy times watching her great-grandchildren grow and play.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her brothers, Woodrow and Kip Brenchley, and sister Marian Brenchley Gallup.

Doris is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Rhonda and Marty Shute of Otisco; grandchildren, Zack (Alyssa)Shute of DeRuyter, and Katelyn (John) McCloskey of Camillus; her great-grandchildren, Adelyn and John Shute, and Shea, Michael, and Tess McCloskey; sisters, Jane Emerson of Nedrow, and Phyllis (Bob) Cronin of Syracuse; sister-in-law, Dottie McConnell of LaFayette. Also survived by two foster daughters, Rose Condit of Michigan, and Elizabeth Clice of Delaware and their families, and many nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to thank Linda Pientka for her care, compassion, and friendship to Mom (and us!), and Dr. Digant Nanavati and staff.

No calling hours. Graveside services at the convenience of the family. Burial in Vesper Cemetery.
