Obituary of Thomas E. Posecznick

Thomas E. Posecznick, 55, of Marcellus, died Thursday night after a long illness. Tom was a graduate of Skaneateles High School and SUNY IT at Utica, Rome. He was employed by the Syracuse Housing Authority for 32 years and a member of Rose Hill Baptist Church. Tom had a servant heart and sought to care and serve his family as he followed the Lord. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Surviving are his wife, Christine (Ventura) Posecznick; two sons, Benjamin and Daniel; his mother, Peggy (Hollier) Posecznick; and his siblings, Tim Posecznick, Tanya (Vinson) Davis and Terry (Laura) Posecznick. Thomas was preceded in death by his father, Edward Posecznick. Calling hours will be Monday, May 23rd from 4:30 to 6:30pm at Ryan Funeral Home, 44 E. Main Street, Marcellus. A Funeral Service will be held Tuesday the next morning at 9am in Rose Hill Baptist Church, followed by the burial in Highland Cemetery, Marcellus.
