Obituary of Agnes Welsh Meiers

Agnes Welsh Meiers, 86, of Hutchinson Island, Jensen Beach, FL and formerly of Marcellus, NY passed away November 13, 2021. Agnes was a 1952 graduate of Marcellus Central Schools and attended Powelson Business Institute in Syracuse and Cayuga Community College. She worked many years in the office of the Crown Woolen Mills and The Martisco Paper Co., Inc. Agnes was a communicant of St. Francis Xavier Church, Marcellus and Holy Family Church, Port St. Lucie, FL. She was predeceased by her first husband John Busch; brother Robert Welsh and two sisters Charlotte Welsh and Karen Conley. Agnes is survived by her husband Darryl of 53 years; two sons David (Amy) and Paul; grandchildren Mackenzie and Luke; sister-in-law Betty Welsh; and many nieces and nephews. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10am December 6th in St. Francis Xavier Church, One West Main Street, Marcellus. Burial will follow at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Marcellus. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Memorial Giving, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
