Nicholas (Nick) Dillon Olenych, 30, passed away on October 10, 2021. Born December 20, 1990, Nick was raised in Marcellus, NY. He graduated from Marcellus High School and spent his happiest years growing up there amongst family and friends. Nick had a love for skateboarding, music, movies, and friends. He was an avid reader, impressive chess player, and SU sports fan. In recent years, Nick enjoyed playing and watching golf. Nick was a kind and generous soul, who was friendly to everyone he met. Nick had a great love of family. He is survived by his devoted mother, Patricia Dillon Olenych; loving father, Daniel (Monica) Olenych, Sr.; brother, Daniel (Nicole) Olenych, Jr.; sister, Amy Olenych; his three nephews, Oliver, Lucas, and Miles Olenych; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Calling hours will be from 3 to 6pm Thursday, October 14 at Ryan Funeral Home, 44 E. Main St., Marcellus. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated the next morning, 10am Friday in St. Francis Xavier Church, Marcellus. Burial will follow at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery.
