Thomas Leonard, 85, of Marcellus, died Monday at St Joseph's Hospital. Tom worked at Niagara Mohawk for 39 years and was known from Boston to Buffalo as "Jowells". He will always be remembered for his quick wit and one-liners. Tom enjoyed refinishing old furniture, fishing, genealogy and anything Irish. He was endearingly devoted to his children and grandchildren. Tom was predeceased in 2012 by his wife Suzanne of 55 years. Surviving are his children Thomas (Lori) of Camillus, Timothy (Marie) of Napa, CA and Beth (Rob) Coye of Camillus; six grandchildren Kacie (Brendon), Devin, Molly, Jessie, Timothy and Daniel; several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Friday, May 7th from 4 to 6pm at Ryan Funeral Home, 44 E. Main Street, Marcellus. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 1pm Saturday in St. Francis Xavier Church, Marcellus. The Rite of Committal and burial will follow at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery.
