Obituary of Margaret "Peggy" Crysler

Margaret "Peggy" Crysler, 85, of Marcellus passed away peacefully Thursday, March 12, 2020 after a long battle with Alzheimer's. Peggy was a homemaker to 9 children for 40 years. She then worked for the Marcellus Central Schools in food service, retiring after 22 years. Peggy was a communicant of St. Francis Xavier Church, Marcellus. She enjoyed reading, walking and antiquing with Al. Peggy was predeceased by her twin sister and brother-in-law Polly (Jim) Rossiter and son-in-law Ken Pelchy. Surviving are her loving husband of 63 years Allan; children Chris Pelchy, Michael (Kelly), Connie Bassett (John), Mark (Holly), Andrew (Dawn), Daniel, Nancy (Jim) Boise, Mary (J.D.) Koontz and Karen (Paul) Goodnight; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. We would like to thank the staff at VanDuyn. Calling hours will be from 2 to 5pm Sunday, March 15th at Ryan Funeral Home, 44 E. Main St., Marcellus. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 9am Monday in St. Francis Xavier Church, One West Main Street, Marcellus. The Rite of Committal and burial will follow at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery.
