Obituary of Mary Kearns Byrne
Mary Kearns Byrne, 84, of Howlett Hill passed away suddenly Saturday, February 29, 2020 at Crouse Hospital, Syracuse. Born in Syracuse, Mary was a 1953 graduate of St. Anthony's School and moved to Howlett Hill in 1979. She was a communicant of Holy Family Church, Fairmount. Her husband of 44 years R. J. "Peter" Byrne died in 2005.
Surviving are five children James M., Mary Ellen, Elizabeth (Andrew) Reaume, Kevin P. (Elaine) and Catherine; three grandchildren Peter Bedworth-Byrne, Victoria Reaume and Sarah Reaume; two sisters-in-law Margaret Kearns of Marcellus and Helen Liccione of Milwaukee, WI; several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be from 4 to 6pm Wednesday, March 4th at Ryan Funeral Home, 44 E. Main Street, Marcellus. A Memorial Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10am Thursday in Holy Family Church. Mary had requested body donation. Burial will be private.
