Obituary of Beverley "Bebe" Haney

Beverley "Bebe" Haney, 86, of Marcellus has made the journey home. Born in Perth, Ontario to Harold and Ada (Ferguson) Allan, Bebe moved to Marcellus as a young child. She married the love of her life Harold "Deacon" Haney. Together they raised four children and lived an exciting, colorful 47 years, until his passing in 1998. Bebe worked as a school bus driver for Marcellus Central School for 40 years. She enjoyed quilting, knitting, bowling, dirt racing, NASCAR, and all outdoor activities, and her many beloved pets. Bebe was quietly mischievous in her zest and love of life. Full of kindness, love, and adventure, she spent the last five years of her life with Alzheimer's disease, in the most loving care of her son John and daughter-in-law Sheila. Bebe is predeceased by her husband Harold "Deacon" Haney, son Daniel W. Haney and sister Audry. She leaves behind a loving family, including her children David (Lisa) Haney, John (Sheila) Haney, and Christena (Peter) Argese; brothers Harold (Jeanne) Allan and William Allan; five grandchildren; two great-grandsons; and very dear friends Flossy Pottinger, and John and Sandy Dugan. Thank you to the nursing staff at the Auburn Nursing Home for the warm loving care over the past few months. Calling hours will be 4 to 7pm Wednesday, with a memorial service to follow, both held at Ryan Funeral Home, 44 E. Main Street, Marcellus. Burial service will be 11am Thursday at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Marcellus. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to MAVES, P.O.
