Obituary of Marian G. Gilbo
Marian G. Gilbo, 95, of Mukilteo, WA and formerly of Kasson Road, Syracuse, NY passed away Monday, July 15, 2019. Marian was the daughter of the late Mary and Albert Miller. She worked many years for E.W. Edwards & Son department store. Marian was a member of the Onondaga Seniors. She was predeceased by her husband of 58 years Robert C. Gilbo in 2003, daughter-in-law Michelle McEwan in 2018 and brother-in-law James Belknap in 1987.
Surviving are her two sons Robert (Kathleen) Gilbo of Mukilteo, WA and James Gilbo of Torrance, CA; three sisters Ann (Art) Stanton of Skaneateles, NY, Theresa (Edward) Marusa of Daytona Beach, FL, and Irene Belknap of Marcellus, NY; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Monday, July 22nd from 4 to 6pm at Ryan Funeral Home, 44 E. Main St., Marcellus. A Mass of Christian Burial will then be celebrated Tuesday 10:00am in The Church of St. Michael & St. Peter, Onondaga Hill, Syracuse. Burial will follow at the Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Church of St. Michael & St. Peter, 4782 W. Seneca Turnpike, Syracuse, NY 13215.
