Obituary of Kenneth J. Pelchy

        Kenneth J. Pelchy, 62, of Camillus passed away suddenly on February 11th due to illness.  Kenny grew up in Marcellus, NY and was a graduate of Marcellus High School.  He worked 30+ years at Spadotto-Welch Construction and more recently at Irish-Millar Construction in Syracuse.  He was a skilled carpenter who enjoyed woodworking and building things in his garage.
        Kenny was an enthusiastic SU fan and enjoyed watching football, basketball and lacrosse.  He was predeceased by his parents James and Dorothy (Bochenek) Pelchy.
        He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years Christine (Crysler); daughters Erica (Mark) Scott and Colleen Schoner; grandchildren Ariana Schoner, Charlotte and Spencer Scott; sisters Pamela and Christine (Brian); in-laws Allan and Peggy Crysler; and several nieces, nephews and a large extended family.
        Calling hours will be from 3 to 6pm, followed by a memorial service, both held Friday, February 15th at Ryan Funeral Home, 44 E. Main Street, Marcellus.
