Obituary of Harold T. "Scooter" Kendall III

Harold T. “Scooter” Kendall III, 61, of Skaneateles passed away unexpectedly Monday, November 26, 2018. Born in Syracuse, NY, he was a 1975 graduate of Marcellus Central Schools. Scooter worked as a truck driver for over 30 years, retiring this year from the Teamsters Local 317 and he was the owner/operator of Scooter’s BBQ for many years. In his free time Scooter enjoyed cooking for friends & family, photography, fishing, boating, working in his garage and spending time with Deb.

Scooter was predeceased by his father, Harold T “Bud” Kendall, Jr.  Surviving are his children Casey (Kristie) and Krystal (Matthew) Barletta; his mother Caroline; grandchildren Aleea Kendall and Carter Barletta; siblings Jeffrey (Kris), Julie Witty, Gregory and Gordon (Kelly); his loving companion Deb Sawtell; several nieces and nephews, and his cat Mother.

Calling hours will be from 3 to 6pm on Friday, November 30, 2018 with a funeral service immediately following at Ryan Funeral Home, 44 E. Main Street, Marcellus. Burial will be private.
