Obituary of Gloria M. Evans
Gloria M. Evans, 91, of Marcellus died Saturday, July 14, 2018 at Van Duyn in Syracuse. She was a life resident of Marcellus. Gloria worked many years at Camillus Cutlery. She was a caring woman who believed in family and friends. Her spirit was guided by “There’s always room for one more at the table.”
Gloria was predeceased by her husband Edward F. Higgins and her son Edward J. Evans.
Surviving are her son John (Barb) Higgins of Navarino; daughter Lori Coffey of Marcellus; step-children Joyce Higgins and Robert Higgins; step-siblings Ben Evans and Cathy Bennett; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
There will be no calling hours. Services are private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Marcellus Ecumenical Food Pantry, P.O. Box 147, Marcellus, NY 13108.
