Elizabeth D. (LaRose) Black, 86, of Marcellus, NY, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 26, surrounded by her family. Elizabeth, or as she was fondly known as Liz, Till, Curtilly, Diddy, Gigi, Grama Grama, Granny, is survived by her husband of nearly 62 years, Charles, her children Edward, Peter (Darlene), Thomas (Riki), Sharon Cazzolli (John), and John, 12 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, her brother Edward (Glad), sister Jane (William), Debbie Black of Syracuse, Deb Black of Maryland, and several nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Christopher. 

Liz was a loving wife and mother who enjoyed cooking and being around family. She worked for Charles T. Driscoll Masonry of Marcellus for over 20 years. She was dedicated to the Catholic Church, Home Bureau, and Rosary Altar. Among the many things Liz will be remembered for, she had a sharp mind and an incredible memory! Rest peacefully in Heaven!

A Memorial Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Francis Xavier Church in Marcellus on Saturday, July 14 at 10:00am.  Burial will be at a future date.
