Obituary of Norbert Adams

Norbert Adams, 80, of Syracuse passed away unexpectedly at home January 15, 2017. Norbert was born April 10, 1936 to Casimir Adamski and Anna Victor in Nanticoke, PA. A good and loving man passed into the loving arms of God, where he joins those he has loved so well. Norb was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by his wife of 58 years the former Constance Bartlett; his children Lauri Ann (Dave) Heath and Christopher John Adams; three granddaughters Hillary Adams, Kelsey Adams and Audra Adams; a sister Dorothy Adamski (deceased); two brothers Charles (Barbara) Adamski and Paul Adamski. Norb was an Electronic Engineer for 38 years at General Electric and traveled the world for them. He was a proud Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps who served in Korea. So now our proud Marine, Semper Fi and God Bless. Calling hours will be from 4 to 7pm Friday, January 20th at Ryan Funeral Home, 44 E. Main Street, Marcellus. A memorial service will be 10am Saturday, January 21st at the funeral home. Burial will follow. Contributions may be made to the Syracuse Rescue Mission, 155 Gifford Street, Syracuse, NY 13202.
