Obituary of W. Roger Chesher
W. Roger Chesher, 94, of Rochester passed away Monday, December 28, 2020 at home with family by his side. Roger attended Monroe High School and was a US WWII Army Veteran. He moved to Brockport in 1958 where he resided for many years. Roger worked at Eastman Kodak Company for 36 years, retiring from Kodak in 1983. He was a member of the German Shorthaired Pointer Clubs of Western, NY and the Finger Lakes. Roger was predeceased by his sister Marcelline Wrightman.
Surviving are his wife of 73 years, the former Joyce Guest; daughters Lisa (Paul) Twombly and Amy Cammilleri; four grandchildren Kyle (Christine) and Shannon Twombly, Nicoletta and Gabriel Cammilleri; one great-grandson Kaden Twombly and his sister-in-law Lavinia Hulek.
There are no calling hours. Service and burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Rochester & Finger Lakes Region, 435 E. Henrietta Road, Rochester, NY 14620.
