Obituary of Regina F. Dillon

Regina Finlon Dillon, 87, of Marcellus, NY passed away with family by her side on February 23, 2016. She was born December 27, 1928 in Otisco, NY, the daughter of George and Katherine Finlon. Regina was a graduate of Tully Central School. Prior to her retirement, she worked as a real estate broker for Conan Real Estate. Regina was a communicant of St. Francis Xavier Church, Marcellus. She was an enthusiastic bridge player and enjoyed baking her wonderful rolls and desserts. Regina was predeceased by her loving husband of 51 years, John F. (Jack) Dillon. She is survived by her children Julie (Jim) Bubnack of Onondaga Hill, NY, Kevin (Kathy) Dillon of Minneapolis, MN, Monica (Mark) Bloomstine of Erie, PA, and Marty (Sandy Wickwire) Dillon, of Skaneateles, NY. Her grandchildren, Katie (John) Crotty, Betsy, Colleen, and Tim Bubnack, Matt (Christie), Molly, and Annie Dillon, and Pat, Danny, Mike, Sean, and Anna Bloomstine. Her great-granddaughter, Isabel Dillon. Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, February 26th, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Ryan Funeral Home, 44 East Main Street, Marcellus, NY. A celebration of Regina's life will be a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Francis Xavier Church, 1 West Main Street, Marcellus, on Saturday, February 27th, at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Francis Xavier Church, P.O. Box 177, Marcellus, NY 13108.
