Joyce K. Glover Obituary
Joyce K. Glover, of Marcellus, unexpectedly passed away at Crouse Hospital on April 14th, the day after her 85th birthday. She graduated from Liverpool High School, worked at General Electric, and then married her roller-skating buddy-a partnership that lasted 46 years. Joyce worked 22 years on the Glover Farm and then drove bus for Marcellus Schools for another 22 years. She was a communicant of St. Francis Xavier Church.
Joyce was predeceased by her husband Russell Glover and grandson William Koskay Glover of Los Angeles, CA. She is survived by her children Michael (Tamae) of Los Angeles, Kelly Glover of Liverpool and Christopher (Kimberly) of Syracuse; her grandchildren Benjamin Amrod, Ian Glover and Abigail Glover, all of Syracuse; brother John Graham of Syracuse and many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Sunday, April 19, 2026 from 1 to 3pm at Ryan Funeral Home, 44 E. Main Street, Marcellus. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated the next morning, Monday, April 20 at 11am held in St. Francis Xavier Church, One W. Main Street, Marcellus. The Rite of Committal and burial will follow at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Joyce's memory to Marcellus Transportation Employees Union, 2 Reed Parkway, Marcellus, NY 13108 in honor of her years driving bus.
