Carol Edgerton Hill, 87, of Syracuse, passed away on March 25, 2026, at Community Hospital, surrounded by loved ones. Carol devoted much of her life to caring for others as a Registered Nurse, retiring in 1993. She was also known for her incredible talent as a distinguished artist. She treasured her family and often spoke fondly of the summers spent on the St. Lawrence River with family and friends.

Carol is survived by her three children, Greg (Wendy), Susan (Juan Carlos), and Brian (Donna); grandchildren, Kendra (Tom), Hillary (Chris), Courtney, Nathan (Tristin), Kyle (Paige), Cris, Kailee, and Matthew; 4 great-grandchildren; her brother, Robert; and several nieces and nephews. Carol was predeceased by her beloved husband of 60 years, Stewart; and her sister, Janet.

Please join us in celebrating Carol's life at a memorial funeral service on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at 10:00 am in the Christ Community Church of the Nazarene, 3644 Warners Rd., Syracuse, NY 13209. The family will welcome friends after the service. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly suggests donations be made to the Upstate Golisano Children's Hospital, honoring Carol's lifelong passion for helping others.
