Obituary of Marilyn S. Lautenslager

Marilyn Stilwell Lautenslager, 94, of Marcellus, NY passed away peacefully at home December 23, 2025 with family by her side.

Marilyn was a graduate of Geneva High School in 1949 and Genesee Hospital School of Nursing in 1952. She worked as a Registered Nurse for 23 years at St. Camillus in Syracuse, retiring in 1993 as Evening Supervisor. Marilyn knew at age 7 she wanted to be a nurse. Her career was very rewarding and in retirement she missed her profession greatly. Marilyn was a member of the Marcellus First Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed reading, crafting and being part of the Presbyterian Women. She and her husband Richard loved traveling the country in their RV. Marilyn loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Marilyn is survived by her loving husband of 72 years Richard; children David (Cyndy), Carol (John) Marble, Robert (Orkida) and Karen Vincent; her sister Sandra Wheeler; 12 grandchildren Jennifer, Cara, Gwenyth, Bethany, Evan, Samson, Jamie, Esther, Joseph, Jenna, Jocelyn and Raphael, and 13 great-grandchildren Aiden, Brayden, Hannah, Larson, Quinn, Ian, Hailey, Iva, Henry, Ari, Harold, Avery and Wyatt.

A calling hour will be Saturday, December 27th from 11am to 12pm and a funeral service will follow at 12pm, both held at Ryan Funeral Home, 44 E. Main Street, Marcellus. The burial will be in the spring.
