Obituary of Andreana M. Townsend

Andreana Maione Townsend, 91, of Marcellus, passed away peacefully November 24, 2025 at Syracuse Home in Baldwinsville. She was born in Syracuse to the late Francis and Sophie Maione. Andreana was a member of St. Patrick's High School Class of 1951, graduating as Valedictorian. She married Bernard L. Townsend in 1959. A resident of Marcellus since 1960, she was a communicant of St. Francis Xavier Church. Bernard predeceased her in 2012.

Andreana is survived by her children, Eugene M. (Barbara Jeanne) Townsend of Cortland, and Kathleen (David) Ryan; six grandchildren, John and Katie Townsend, Julie (Anthony) Blundetto, Cindy (Patrick) Krisak, Chris (Shannon) Ryan, and Nick Ryan; six great-grandchildren, Peter and John David Krisak, Charlie and Cooper Ryan, and Sam and Sofie Blundetto. She was predeceased by her brother Joseph Maione.

Calling hours will be 4 to 6 p.m. Monday, December 1st at Ryan Funeral Home, 44 E. Main Street, Marcellus. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday, December 2nd at St. Francis Xavier Church, One West Main Street, Marcellus. The Rite of Committal and Burial will follow at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery.
