Obituary of Wallace G. Grevelding
Wallace G. Grevelding, 29, of Preble, NY, passed away unexpectedly on October 25, 2025.
Born on June 19, 1996, Wallace was the beloved son of Wallace D. and Jeanette Grevelding. He graduated from Marcellus High School and went on to build a career as a heavy machinery mechanic, known for his ingenuity and his uncanny ability to fix any piece of equipment that came his way.
Wallace was a devoted son, brother, and friend. He found joy in working on mechanical projects in the garage or barn, especially his monster truck; and cherished time hunting with his father, and spending time outdoors with his partner Sarah. With a mechanical mind and inventive spirit, he took pride in building and restoring anything with moving parts.
He is survived by his parents, Wallace D. and Jeanette; his brother Brian (Chelsea); his loving partner, Sarah; and many extended family members and friends who will miss him deeply.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2025, from 1:00 to 3:30 pm with a memorial service to follow at 3:30 pm, both held at Ryan Funeral Home, 44 E. Main St., Marcellus, NY.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks donations to be made to Onondaga Earth Corps in Wallace's memory.
