Obituary of Richard C. Raner
Richard C. Raner passed away peacefully on August 28, 2025 at the age of 91. Born October 2, 1933 to Dorothy and Clinton Raner, he lived in Auburn, Marcellus, and Lakeside, NY. A Korean War veteran, he was a skilled mechanic, owned and operated Raner's Service in Lakeside for almost 50 years. Richard was a selfless man of varied interests, and had a rich and fulfilling life. He was predeceased by his parents and brother-in-law, Richard Farrell; survived by his siblings, Janet Farrell, Merton (Ginny) Raner, and Nancy (David) Kobus, beloved nieces, nephews, and their children. At Richard's request, services are private.
