Ann M. Carey, 88, of Marcellus passed away March 6, 2025. Born in Utica, Ann moved to Marcellus in 1964. She was a graduate of New Hartford High School in 1954 and Cortland State in 1958. For 22 years Ann was a teacher at Marcellus Central Schools, retiring in 1987. She was a member of the Marcellus First Presbyterian Church. Ann enjoyed golfing. Her husband Howard, of 60 years, died in 2019.

Surviving are her daughters Lynne (Scott) Avery of Camillus and Susan (Blake) Marson of Norwich; four grandchildren Mitch and Matt (Hannah) Carey, and Casey (Matt) Shirey and Max Marson and great-grandson Rowan.

Calling hours will be Tuesday, March 11th from 4 to 6pm, followed by a Memorial Service, both held at Ryan Funeral Home, 44 E. Main Street, Marcellus. Burial will be private.
