Paige Marie Elizabeth Swierk, 16, of Syracuse, NY, passed away unexpectedly on February 3, 2025. Born on August 20, 2008, to Karen Trendowski Swierk and Francis J. Swierk, Paige was known for her tenacious determination. She often got lost in her books and found peace in the tranquility of Otisco Lake. Paige was currently a student at Bishop Ludden Junior/Senior High School and had previously attended the Westhill School District. In her honor, scholarship funds will be established at both school districts.

Paige was predeceased by her grandmothers, Patricia Trendowski and Mary Fran Swierk.

She will be dearly missed by her parents, Karen Trendowski Swierk and Francis Swierk; her siblings, Ryan Swierk and Teagan Swierk; her grandfathers, Teal Trendowski (Kathy) and Chester Swierk (Valerie); her godparents, Angela Trendowski and Richard Barton; as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, and her beloved cats; Riley, Harper, and Kennedy.

Calling hours will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday, February 7, 2025, at Ryan Funeral Home, 44 E. Main Street, Marcellus. The funeral service will be at 9 a.m. on Saturday, February 8, in Amber Congregational Church, 2394 Otisco Valley Road, Marietta, NY. Spring burial will be at Amber Cemetery.
