Cyndi "Dee" Nagy, 65, of Howlett Hill, NY, died May 27, 2020 with family by her side after a long and courageous battle with Myelodysplastic Syndrome (MDS), a blood cancer. She was born June 5, 1954 in Syracuse, to the late Filomena (Pizzuto) and Alexander Nagy. Dee worked as a compassionate psychiatric aide and retired from Hutchings Psychiatric Center in Syracuse. Dee lived for her 3 nephews, Rich Nagy, Xavier Jenner and Shilo Jenner. She had the kindest heart and gave it freely to her family and friends. Family was her life. Dee is survived by her sisters Alexis "Lee Nagy" West and Donna Lynn (Edward) Jenner; nephews Richard "Rich" Nagy, Xavier Jenner and Shilo Jenner, all of Howlett Hill; her aunts Leona Pringle of Memphis, NY and Carm Beaver of Sherburne, NY and many, many cousins. It is with deep sorrow that with the pandemic, there will be no funeral services at this time. We hope you will join us at a future date to be determined for a memorial service to celebrate Cyndi's life. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to SPCA of Syracuse, NY or St. Jude's Hospital.
