Obituary of Alice M. Wise

Alice M. Wise, 81, of Marcellus passed away unexpectedly Tuesday December 15, 2015 at home. Born in Syracuse, Alice moved to Marcellus in 1959. She worked 11 years in the deli at the Nojaim Bros. Supermarket in Marcellus. Alice was a life member and past president of the Marcellus Fire Department Auxiliary. She enjoyed playing cards. Alice was predeceased by her husband of 39 years, Gerald Wise, in 1990 and her son David Wise in 2015. Surviving are three sons Jeffrey and Michael both of St. Thomas, USVI and Scott (Anne) of Bath, NY; daughter-in-law Sherry of Cleveland, NY; 8 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; her sister Lucille Cosentino of Syracuse; brothers Richard (Nancy) Berube of East Syracuse and Albert (Diane) Tremblay of Arizona; many nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be 4 to 7pm Friday, December 18 at Ryan Funeral Home, 44 E. Main Street, Marcellus. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10am Saturday, December 19 in St. Francis Xavier Church, Marcellus. Burial will follow at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Marcellus.
