Obituary of Susan M. Wood
Susan M. (Nash) Wood, 59, of Navarino passed away Thursday, March 15, 2018 with family by her side at Couse Hospital, after a three year battle with cancer.
Sue graduated from Onondaga Central School in 1977 and went on to Onondaga Community College receiving her Associate's Degree. She then graduated from Keuka College with her Bachelor's Degree in 2008. Sue was Charge Nurse on 4th Floor North in the Cardiac Section of Crouse Hospital, where she worked for 19 years before retiring.
Sue loved traveling, enjoyed every minute with the grandchildren, and loved her work and coworkers at 4 North Crouse Hospital.
Surviving are her beloved and devoted husband of 24 years, who never left her side, Gary J. Wood; daughter Elizabeth (Jason) Robison; stepdaughter Jennifer Wood (Raymond Kelly); her parents Ron and Wilma Nash; nine grandchildren Kaleb Ladouceur, Jordan Kelly, Cole Ladouceur, Jocie Ladouceur, Aidan Robison, Tyler Kelly, Conor Robison, Maddie Robison and Greyson Kelly; brother Ed (Deanie) Nash.
Calling hours will be from 1 to 3pm and 6 to 8pm Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at Ryan Funeral Home, 44 E. Main Street, Marcellus. Service and burial will be private.
